FLOATING CONCERTS RETURN TO THE MAUMEE RIVER — PADDLE & GROOVE BACK FOR SUMMER 2025

A one-of-a-kind summer concert experience is making its return to the Maumee River. Paddle & Groove, the region’s only floating concert series, is back for its second season — and it’s just as unforgettable as it sounds.

Hosted by Black Swamp Conservancy, this unique event invites you to kayak alongside a pontoon boat carrying live bands as they perform while cruising down the river. It’s part live show, part outdoor adventure, and all about celebrating music, community, and conservation.

This year’s concerts are scheduled for:
July 2, July 23, August 13, and August 27, from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

You can bring your own boat for $15, rent a solo kayak for $45, or paddle tandem with a friend for $90. Kids under 18 must ride with an adult.

The artist lineup is stacked with talent — from roots rockers Nick Dittmeier & The Sawdusters, to Americana soul artist Whitney Mongé, the country-blues fusion of Joe’s Truck Stop, and the smooth Midwestern soul of Soultru.

More than just a concert, Paddle & Groove shines a spotlight on the conservation work being done to protect the Maumee River and the surrounding land. You’ll paddle through restored prairies, wetlands, and riverbanks supported by Black Swamp Conservancy’s ongoing efforts.
