TOLEDO, Ohio — A downtown Toledo landmark is getting a new corporate headquarters tenant.
Estone Technology has announced plans to move its headquarters into One SeaGate, just weeks after local investors purchased the 32-story office tower along the Maumee River.
The technology company, currently based in Holland, provides computing solutions for industrial and medical customers, including work tied to artificial intelligence and robotics. The company said the move into the 653,000-square-foot building will support its future growth.
Estone said its owner and business partner acquired One SeaGate in late August. The company now plans to modernize the building with smart technology, digital communications systems, robotic cleaning tools and automated security.
Additional planned upgrades for tenants include shared spaces such as an updated fitness center, yoga areas, a golf simulator, banquet hall, expanded parking and dining options.
One SeaGate has been one of Toledo’s most recognizable office towers for decades. The company’s planned move gives the building a new role as Estone looks to expand while also adding momentum to downtown Toledo redevelopment efforts.
