The Village of Whitehouse is all set to celebrate Halloween with exciting festivities for all ages. This year’s Halloween Happenings promises a blend of early trick-or-treat fun, tasty treats, and special events hosted by the local police and fire departments to ensure a safe and memorable evening.
Event Highlights for October 31, Halloween:
- Early Trick-or-Treating: Local Whitehouse businesses will kick off trick-or-treating early this year, starting at 5:00 PM. Those outside the downtown area are invited to join the fun at Village Park near the Shelter House.
- Free Hot Dogs and Snacks: The Village will provide complimentary hot dogs, chips, and water at the Shelter House from 5:00 PM, while supplies last. Families are encouraged to stop by for a quick snack before heading out to collect candy.
- Community Artwork: Young artists who participated in the Halloween coloring event are reminded to return their completed pages to Village Hall by October 31 for a chance to have their work displayed in the Shelter House.
- Safety First: The Whitehouse Police Department and Fire Department will be out patrolling, handing out treats, and ensuring a safe Halloween for everyone.
- Children’s Halloween Party: Whitehouse American Legion Post 384 will host its annual Children’s Halloween Party on October 31 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, featuring games, treats, and a costume contest for the young trick-or-treaters.
