Bowling Green, OH — The Bowling Green Fire Division, in partnership with City of Bowling Green Mayor Mike Aspacher, city employees, 13 Action News, and the Salvation Army, has launched the “Hope for the Holidays” Toy Drive. This month-long event invites community members to donate toys that will be distributed to children in need this holiday season.
The drive will conclude with the 13 Action News Hope for the Holidays one-day drive-through event on December 6, held at the Woodland Mall Parking Lot. The event kicks off at 6:00 AM and will feature volunteers collecting toys directly from donors.
Until December 3, anyone wishing to contribute can drop off unwrapped toys at several Bowling Green locations, including:
- Bowling Green Fire Station #1: 552 E. Court St.
- Bowling Green Fire Station #2: 1060 Pearl St.
- Bowling Green City Administration Building: 305 N. Main St.
- Bowling Green Electric Division: 515 E. Wooster St.
- Bowling Green Community Center: 1245 W Newton Rd.
- Bowling Green Public Works Garage: 815 E Poe Rd.
- Bowling Green Water Distribution & Wastewater Collection: 324 N Maple Street.
In a festive highlight, all collected toys will be delivered to the Hope for the Holidays event by fire truck, spreading holiday cheer from the Bowling Green Fire Division to the community.
Residents are encouraged to take part in this meaningful opportunity to brighten the holiday season for local families in need.
