Grand Rapids Light Up the Night & Santa Breakfast – 12/13 and 12/14
Downtown Grand Rapids, Ohio, is set to shine with holiday cheer during its annual Light Up the Night event, promising a full day of festive fun for the whole family.
Festivities kick off on Friday, December 13, with the 3rd Annual Christmas Sing-a-long at Town Hall. Highlights include performances by Defying Gravity and a special skit honoring this year’s Volunteer of the Year.
On Saturday, December 14, the holiday magic continues with breakfast with Santa at the old fire station. Enjoy two sessions, 9-10 a.m. or 10:15-11:15 a.m., featuring Santa and Mrs. Claus. Admission is a free-will offering.
Later on Saturday, enjoy Christmas carolers strolling the streets, shoppe specials, cookie decorating, crafting activities, and a free hot cocoa bar boasting over 20 toppings!
The celebration concludes with the dazzling Light Up the Night Parade, where residents and businesses will showcase their holiday spirit with decked-out vehicles, bikes, golf carts, and even costumes. Those wishing to join the parade can still register to participate, click here!
Jingle Bell Jam in Bowling Green – 12/14
The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department is thrilled to announce the return of the Jingle Bell Jam, a beloved family event to celebrate the winter season. The event, sponsored by the Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Foundation, will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at the Veterans Building in City Park. Featuring a variety of free, family-friendly activities, the Jingle Bell Jam promises a festive and fun-filled afternoon for all ages. Information here.
Santa at Grand Rapids Township Fire – 12/18
Santa will be at the Grand Rapids Township Fire Department (17706 Wapakoneta Road, Grand Rapids) on Wednesday, December 18 at 6:30pm. Bring a list!
