Power Outage Scheduled for Pemberville on Monday

PEMBERVILLE, Ohio – The Village of Pemberville will experience a complete power shutdown on Monday, December 16, as First Energy works to power up the newly restored north substation on College Avenue. The outage will occur from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will affect all village utility customers.

Mayor Carol Bailey advised residents to prepare for the outage by charging devices, arranging for medical needs, and planning for the disruption to daily activities. Landline phones using VOIC will not function, businesses will likely close, and banking transactions will be unavailable.

Residents are encouraged to check on neighbors who may need assistance during the shutdown. Questions can be directed to the village office at 419-287-3832 or Mayor Bailey at 419-419-9645.
