Winter Weather Advisory: More Freezing Rain Expected for NW Ohio

A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 1 p.m. Saturday until 1 a.m. Sunday, with a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain expected to create hazardous travel conditions across northwest Ohio.

Forecasters predict up to an inch of snow and sleet, along with ice accumulations reaching two-tenths of an inch in some areas. Freezing rain is most likely south of Interstate 90, while northern portions of the advisory area could see more snow and sleet. The wintry mix is expected to arrive this afternoon and continue through the evening before tapering off overnight.

Sunday: Partly sunny with a high near 32.

Officials recommend delaying unnecessary travel until conditions improve.
