PERRYSBURG, Ohio – Many Perrysburg families will see changes in their children’s elementary school assignments starting this fall as the district takes steps to manage expenses amid continued growth.
The decision comes after multiple failed attempts to pass bond levies over the past two years. In response, the Perrysburg Board of Education approved a redistricting plan during its meeting on Tuesday.
According to school officials, the changes are expected to save approximately $630,000 by streamlining services such as transportation.
More than a quarter of the district’s elementary school students will be affected by the new plan, according to 13ABC.
