The 31st Annual Wood County Humane Society Benefit Garage Sale will take place Thursday, May 22 through Saturday, May 24 at the Wood County Fairgrounds in Bowling Green. The sale will be held in the Grandstands and Home & Garden Buildings.
Sale Hours:
- Thursday, May 22: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Friday, May 23: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Saturday, May 24: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Donation Drop-Off Times:
- Sunday, May 18: 2 p.m. – 8 p.m.
- Monday & Tuesday, May 19–20: 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Donations can be dropped off at the Wood County Fairgrounds. Signage will be posted to direct traffic. Accepted items include clothing, household goods, electronics, furniture, toys, and collectibles. All donations are tax-deductible and subject to acceptance.
The massive indoor garage sale spans over 22,000 square feet and features a wide variety of merchandise: books, crafts, hardware, lawn and garden items, furniture, toys, and collectibles. Special deals include 25¢ clothing on Friday and a $3 Fill-a-Bag Sale on Saturday.
Now in its 31st year, the sale is one of the Humane Society’s largest annual fundraisers. In 2024, it raised over $34,000 to help provide care for more than 700 animals at the Minnebelle Conley Shelter—a no-kill facility owned and operated by the Humane Society on Van Camp Road in Bowling Green.
