’90s Music Fans: This Is Your Chance to Relive the Hits Under the Stars
TOLEDO, OH – The countdown is on. This Wednesday, July 30, the Barenaked Ladies return to Toledo as part of their “Last Summer on Earth 2025” tour—bringing with them two more icons of late-’90s radio: Sugar Ray and Fastball. The show takes place at the Toledo Zoo Amphitheatre and begins at 6:30 p.m.
For fans of Sweet 419’s throwback-heavy playlist, this is more than a concert—it’s a full-on time warp back to the golden age of alt-pop and summer radio.
A stacked ’90s lineup
Barenaked Ladies became a household name with the fast-talking smash “One Week,” along with fan favorites like “Pinch Me,” “The Old Apartment,” and “If I Had $1,000,000.” Their energetic live shows blend humor, musicianship, and a surprising amount of heart.
Sugar Ray will take you straight back to 1999 with songs like “Every Morning,” “Fly,” and “Someday.” Frontman Mark McGrath still brings that smooth, sun-soaked swagger to the stage.
Fastball, the Texas trio behind “The Way” and “Out of My Head,” opens the night with alt-rock hits you’ll recognize instantly—and probably still know by heart.
A Toledo Zoo tradition
Outdoor concerts at the Zoo Amphitheatre have become a summer staple in the Glass City, and this show promises one of the biggest nostalgia-fueled lineups of the season. It’s the perfect setting for a night of music, memories, and maybe even a few lawn chair dance moves.
Ticket information
Tickets are still available through Ticketmaster, but don’t wait long—these shows often sell out as the date approaches. VIP packages with early entry, merchandise, and premium seats are also available. Please note: the Toledo Zoo box office does not sell concert tickets in advance.
