Sweet 419 is joining the 2026 Jūpmode Here for Good program, giving listeners a chance to support the station while picking up a limited-time shirt.
Sweet 419 is part of the NWO Community Media family of stations alongside Towpath Radio and River Rat Country. The fundraiser helps support the music licensing, streaming services, and technical costs required to keep the stations operating. Shirts are $20 with $10’s being donated to Sweet 419’s operational costs.
Sweet 419 plays a mix of 80s and 90s hits and is powered entirely by volunteers who believe in building fun, community-centered radio.
Unlike traditional radio stations with large sales departments, Sweet 419 operates with a tiny behind-the-scenes team consisting of just one person managing the daily operations. Because of that, the station relies on listener love rather than aggressive advertising to keep things going.
Purchasing a shirt through the Here for Good program directly supports the continued operation of independent streaming radio across Northwest Ohio.
Jūpmode launched the Here for Good program during the 2020 lockdown to help businesses and organizations raise money online. Over the past six years, the initiative has raised more than $423,000 for over 1,000 organizations and community groups.
The 2026 Here for Good campaign runs from March 2 through March 22, and the Sweet 419 shirt will only be available during that limited window.
