Actually, he was probably the first radio voice you’ve ever heard! London’s career spans decades in Northwest Ohio. You probably remember hearing him deliver news with Shores and Steele, Kelly and Staples, and on various other radio stations. London has volunteered to offer his news service to all of the NWO Community Media stations including Sweet 419, Towpath Radio, and River Rat Country. I grew up on mix CDs for crushes, late-night drives with the windows down, and Toledo summers that felt like they’d never end. My brain is basically a jukebox of 80s and 90s bangers, movie quotes, and random Toledo memories.
I’ve got a soft spot for the east side (yeah, I said it), an obsession with finding the deep cuts FM radio forgot about, and I’ll defend Toledo’s pizza scene like it’s my job. My favorite local traditions? The Old West End Fest, Toledo Pride, and the Apple Butter Fest out in Grand Rapids.
I’m here to keep you laughing, singing along, and maybe even rolling your eyes when I get a little too sassy — but hey, that’s what best friends are for.
