Toledo, Ohio — A dispute between adults attending a kindergarten graduation ceremony at Queen of Apostles School Thursday morning ended with one woman arrested and another person hospitalized, according to Toledo police.
Investigators say tensions escalated during an argument over seating arrangements before the ceremony, leading to a physical altercation involving multiple adults at the school on Courtland Avenue.
Police arrested 28-year-old Jessica Anderson following the incident. She is facing a felonious assault charge.
Authorities said a 26-year-old person suffered a head injury during the fight and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
A spokesperson for Central City Ministries, which operates the school, said students were not present inside the room when the altercation happened.
School officials postponed the graduation ceremony and are working to arrange a new date for the event.
