LAKE TOWNSHIP, Ohio — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Toledo man Friday afternoon.
According to investigators, both vehicles were traveling east on State Route 579 when a Jeep Wrangler struck the rear of a GMC Acadia. The Jeep left the roadway and overturned.
The driver of the Jeep, 46-year-old Aaron Stoldt of Toledo, died at the scene.
The driver of the GMC, 28-year-old Nickelle Lee of Toledo, was also involved in the crash.
The crash occurred shortly before 2 p.m. and remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
