Special Horseman Connection Hosts Fall Fundraiser to Support Equestrians with Disabilities

The Special Horseman Connection is a 501(c)3 providing grants for Equestrians with Disabilities who are participating in equine related activities. The Special Horseman Connection was started in 2018 and has grown tremendously since. Yearly, the organization has been able to supply grants to EWD riders through the generosity of local businesses and families who have donated.

In an effort to raise more money for these riders, SHC has put on an annual Fall Fundraiser Show, held at Dusty Boots in Weston, OH. Riders of all ages and abilities have shown with the proceeds going directly towards the grants provided to EWD riders to participate in equine activities.

This year, the Fall Fundraiser show will take place on September 21st, starting at 9am. This year’s show will not only include classes for equestrians to enter and show in, but also a 7:30am pancake breakfast, chicken lunch, the Bucking Barista coffee truck, an inflatable slide, horse-less barrel race, boot race, silent auction and recognition of our veterans.

Join the Special Horseman Connection on September 21st at Dusty Boots in Weston, Ohio to support our local Equestrians with Disabilities!
