TOLEDO, Ohio — Toledo Pride, the largest annual celebration for the LGBTQIA+ community, friends, families and allies in Northwest Ohio, returns to downtown Toledo for three days of events August 14-16.
The free, all-ages celebration features a 5K, parade, festival and community crawl centered around Promenade Park and Uptown Toledo.
Friday, Aug. 14 – Pride Kickoff & NiteGlo 5K
The weekend begins at Promenade Park with the Toledo Pride Kickoff from 5 to 10 p.m.
Runners and walkers can register for the NiteGlo 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., with the race beginning at 7 p.m.
The evening also includes live entertainment, drag performances, food and beverages.
Saturday, Aug. 15 – Parade & Festival
The annual Toledo Pride Parade steps off at noon, followed by the Pride Festival at Promenade Park from 1 p.m. until 10 p.m.
Festival highlights include:
- Live entertainment on two stages
- Main stage performances throughout the day
- Drag performances
- Community organizations and vendors
- Family-friendly activities
- Official Toledo Pride merchandise
- Food and beverages
Sunday, Aug. 16 – The Big Rainbow Bar Hop
The weekend wraps up with The Big Rainbow Bar Hop from 1 to 5 p.m. in Uptown Toledo on Adams Street.
Participants can visit participating bars, restaurants, cafés, boutiques and local businesses while taking advantage of Pride-themed food and drink specials, shopping discounts and exclusive offers with a $5 Rainbow Hop wristband.
Admission to Toledo Pride events is free, and everyone is welcome to attend.
